I recently stayed at Ad Maiora - Design Rooms in Ragusa during my transit through the city. One of the great features of this hotel is its proximity to the nearest airport. As a frequent traveler, convenience is always a top priority for me, and having the airport just 14 km away from the guest house was incredibly convenient. It made my check-in and check-out process smooth and hassle-free. the fact that Comiso, another airport option, is also just 30 km away gives travelers more flexibility in choosing their arrival and departure points.
This meant that I could hear noises from the hallway, which could be slightly distracting at times.

I liked peaceful and absolutely perfect location of this property.
The room was tastefully decorated and brand-new, had an air conditioning, a mini-bar, and an electronic key card. The breakfasts were savoury with the cakes of Maria the mother of Damiano, couldn’t ask for anything better. The atmosphere created was quiet.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just around the corner from the centre of the old town and close to the Duomo square. The hotel facilities were excellent, with spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

For the price we paid, the value we got was exceptional. The room was clean, spacious, and had a very comfortable bed. The location was just a short walk from the town center, and street parking was easy and safe. The host, Damiano, was incredibly nice and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He even helped us with our luggage on both check-in and check-out. we had an extremely pleasant experience and would choose this place again if we ever return.
Menu for breakfast could have had more variety.

The room at Ad Maiora - Design Rooms was cozy and inviting, with a tile/marble floor that added a touch of elegance to our stay. We loved the fact that the room had soundproofing, giving us a peaceful and quiet retreat from the bustling city outside. The private entrance to our double room made us feel like we had our own little oasis in Ragusa. Having a balcony in our twin/double room was a fantastic bonus, offering us a lovely spot to enjoy the river view. The minibar in our double room was a convenient addition, allowing us to enjoy a refreshing drink without leaving our cozy space.
While some might appreciate it, we personally found the bidet in the room to be unnecessary.

We stayed at Ad Maiora for a relaxing weekend in Ragusa Ibla. The family room was beautifully designed and impeccably kept. The modern furniture and high-quality finishes were impressive. Damiano, our host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was abundant and delicious, with many local options to choose from. The location was perfect, near the town center, and we were able to easily park across the street with the parking permit provided. We highly recommend Ad Maiora for a memorable stay in Ragusa Ibla.
